چکیده

In the present paper, we have compiled data on 565 layered and differentiated igneous intrusions globally, documenting their (i) location, (ii) age, (iii) size, (iv) geotectonic setting, (v) putative parent magma(s), (vi) crystallisation sequence, (vii) mineral deposits. Most studied occur in Russia (98), Australia (72), Canada (52), Finland (37), South Africa (38), China (33), Brazil (31). Notable clusters of: Archaean (~ 15%) include those of McFaulds Lake Area (commonly known as Ring Fire, Canada), Pilbara Yilgarn cratons (Australia), Barberton (South Africa); Proterozoic 56%) Giles Event Halls Creek Orogen Kaapvaal craton its margin Botswana), Kola Karelia (Finland Russia), Midcontinent Rift (Canada USA); Phanerozoic 29%) eastern Greenland, Central Asian Orogenic Belt (China Mongolia) Emeishan large province (China). Throughout geological time, occurrence many correlate broadly with amalgamation break-up supercontinents, yet size inventory shows no obvious secular changes. our compilation, 337 possess one or more types occurrences, including: 107 stratiform PGE reef-style mineralisation, 138 Ni-Cu-(PGE) contact-style 74 Fe-Ti-V-(P) horizons, ≥ 35 chromitite seams. Sill-like chonolithic extensional tectonic settings spanning time are most prospective for mineralisation. contrast, deposits prevalent larger, commonly lopolithic that generally >1 Ga age 75%). Stratiform horizons common central upper portions larger intrusions, occurring Phanerozoic. Approximately 80% seams older than 1 > 50% them also contain reefs. Based distribution relatively well explored terranes (e.g., Finland, Africa, Western Australia), propose remain to be discovered Earth, particularly poorly inaccessible regions Australia, Russia, Antarctica, America, northern Canada.

contribution of setting to the study of characters and the main idea in e. brontes: wuthering heights and t. hardys: return of the native.

this thesis aims to adduce an unmitigated and comprehensive explication concerning the relationship of three significant elements of fiction: setting, chracter and theme. my research is basically placed on two outstanding novels of the 19th century: emily brontes wuthering heights and thomas hardys return of the native. my endeavour lies in studying the correlation among the three above-mention...

Contrasting clay mineral assemblages in British Lower Palaeozoic slate belts: the influence of geotectonic setting

Regional differences in clay mineralogy are found in British Lower Palaeozoic slate belts formed during Caledonian terrane amalgamation. Extensional basins in Wales, the northern Lake District and the Isle of Man are characterized by a greater diversity of species in clay mineral assemblages. Slates that evolved in these basins contain both the Kand Na-rich products of the 2:1 dioctahedral reac...

The internal structure and geotectonic setting of the

The Xade Complex is an unexposed Y-shaped body, approximately 100 km long and 25km wide, located close to the western margin of the Kaapvaal craton in Botswana. The Complex is characterized by large coincident magnetic and gravity anomalies. It is completely covered by varying thicknesses of Kalahari sediments as well as by Karoo strata, which means that detailed analysis of high resolution air...
